The LID-575 Pocket Reader decodes passive 125/134.2 kHz transponders of the types:
trovan, ISO FDX-B, HDX, Destron and Avid (FECAVA)
The read data can be saved for later transmission to a computer.
The pocket reader is particularly suitable for tasks with medium reading ranges and when extended coverage of the reading range is required. It is connected to the computer via the integrated USB interface. A Bluetooth interface is also available as an option. The data is shown on the LCD display or can be sent live to the computer via the interface as keyboard emulation (HID). The communication software is supplied.
The guide values for the reading distances can be found in the diagram on the left.
The LID 575 Pocket Reader is supplied with convenient setup software in English and a USB cable. This software enables the parameterisation of the reader as well as data exchange and the management of so-called "custom codes". The use of these custom codes makes it possible to display a name (up to 16 characters) instead of a transponder code with numbers and letters. For this purpose, a table is stored in the reader in which a name is assigned to the respective transponder code. For example, after reading the transponder with the code 968 123 234 1290 234, the reader displays the name "Bello". This allows a quick visual check.
