Security and protection for an animal life long
RFID-Systems and transponders are being used since many years to track and/or identify pets, livestock and zoo animals.
Livestock
For livestock the use of earmarks, boli or necklaces containing a transponder can be recommended.
Micro-Transponder for pets and zoo-animals
A tiny identification chip can protect animals from theft, abuse and loss. With small animals, protected animal species and all zoo animals it is important to have an alternative identification method to earmarks or tattoos. Through the subcutaneous or intramuscular injection of a micro-transponder, it is possible to mark an animal unmistakable. While tattoos fade with time, the code in the transponder can never be deleted, not even with a magnet.
The infection risk and the duration of the injection are much smaller as compared to other procedures.
The chip quickly coadunates within the body so that it cannot migrate within the animal. Hardly larger than a grain of rice, it is implanted underneath the skin with a single injection to give the animal a globally unique, tamper proof code
Every veterinary, every animal shelter and every zoo can identify the animal very quickly with a reader. Via a data base the information about the animal can be traced and the owner informed immediately. Only in Germany annually approximately 300,000 animals run away!
Across borders
Organisations like C.B.S.G. (Zoos), CITES (trade with protected animals) recommend the use of micro-transponders. In addition many national and international breeding federations, universities and institutions are satisfied customers.
